Where: Discord Companion → Test voice, and the native PS5 / PS5 Pro Discord guide.
How to use it
- Connect the bot first. Your normal Discord account must also be a member of the same private server and able to join that channel.
- On an updated PS5, link your normal Discord account to PlayStation through Game Base → Discord → Link Account. If an old account link leaves voice unavailable, follow a relink prompt. PS5 Pro uses the same procedure.
- In Game Base → Discord, choose the private server, the same voice channel and Join. Alternatively join on mobile/desktop Discord, choose the option to join on PlayStation and select your console.
- Choose Test voice in LapMind and confirm that you hear exactly: “Discord connected. Voice test successful. Hopefully.” The test goes to the Discord channel, not a promised phone-speaker output.
- Return to GT7 and check both game audio and Discord voice through the chosen headset/console output. Check Audio Balance, bot member volume and mute state in the console voice-chat card.
- Use the guide’s troubleshooting section when either source is silent. Discord voice chat and PlayStation party voice chat cannot be active together.

How it works
There are two independent joins: the phone connects the bot, while you join your personal account on the listening device. GT7 telemetry is a separate input. A voice test can verify the audio path without proving race telemetry or an event occurred.
Limitations
No PSVR2 mixing guarantee is made. External platform UI can change; official PlayStation and Discord references are linked below, checked 27 October 2026.
