Your driving data
stays on your phone.
Local-first is not a feature tier. It is the ordinary way LapMind works.
Plain language
There is no LapMind account
No username. No email sign-up. No cloud account. No server-side session store. There is no LapMind account planned. If the product ever genuinely needs one, that would be a separate decision.
Telemetry and sessions stay local
GT7 telemetry travels from the PlayStation to Android on the local network. Normal Sessions can retain detailed lap traces on the device. There is no automatic telemetry upload, analytics backend or cloud sync. The separate optional 5 Hz Diagnostics recorder starts only when you choose; export and sharing are explicit actions.
Discord is an optional external route
When a user explicitly configures and connects Discord Companion, engineer audio necessarily travels through Discord to the selected private voice channel. That external route is separate from the local core.
Support material is deliberate
Diagnostics, exports and support data leave the device only through explicit user action to save, share or email them. Nothing is silently uploaded.
What the website collects
This site uses no third-party analytics or advertising tracking. The feedback form simply prepares an email draft on your own device; nothing is sent until you choose to send it.
Local search, too.
The Help Center searches its static article index in your browser. Search terms are not sent to a hosted search service. Discord remains an optional external audio route; its bot token is stored encrypted on the device and excluded from Session exports.
